Think about the road safety risks you have identified and apply them to your own experience of being a passenger, pedestrian, wheels user or future driver. Develop your own safe travel strategies below.

Hint: Look back over your notes and list the three “big messages” the video was trying to emphasise.
Hint: Think of a journey that you regularly take either as a passenger, pedestrian or wheels user. Do you go by yourself, with a brother or sister, friends or parents? How would you describe their behaviour? What vehicles are involved and how would you describe the environment or surroundings?
Hint: Changes to the vehicle, physical environment or to the behaviour of people involved in road safety situations can lessen the risk.
